PE1-iMovie

iMovie is a very useful tool.  To create projects is not that difficulty.  You can drag clips into the project library.  They save automatically.  That is great, because we often produce work and something happens and we either forget to save or don't save for some reason and we lose it all.  That happened to me with this post. All that I had typed was lost because the computer froze and I was unable to do anything but turn it off.
This screen shot shows what your clips look like once they are in your project library.  You can start at the first clip and press your space bar to she how your movie is developing.  That is wonderful because if you need to make adjustments you can do it before you publish the movie.
Screen Shot of part of the movie.
Importing from other sources is really neat.  You can import from your digital camara and make your own movie.  I plan to use this tool to create a movie of my class assembly.  You can also import movies from you camcorder etc.  It is important that you copy the movie over because if you don't you will lose it in the original place.  It would be permanently in iMovie.
